Mission Statement: “I am the voice of one calling in the desert, make straight the way of the Lord.”   John 1:23

The mission of A Voice is to be a literal reflection of Isaiah 40:3-4, and John 1:23.  It is a mission with the crying call of God’s heart for us to be a voice for the Lord - A voice of one calling out the good news into the wilderness and the dry places, wherever and whenever God sends.

Core Values: Spirit Led  A Voice is a Spirit led ministry directed by God, with His agenda and plan in mind.  A Voice follows, sometimes it once or twice a year, or should He call, much more often.  One thing we pray is that we will remain directed by His call.

Co-Laborers:  A Voice is called to co-labor with other ministries whose emphasis is like-minded and Spirit led.  We believe our combined efforts will produce greater fruit.

Wherever God Sends Us:  God is not a respecter of man, and as such, A Voice has also been used to speak at churches and conferences in the United States and abroad, wherever God calls us to go.  

Passion for Women:  Recently, we have sensed God calling A Voice to position itself for more conferences and gatherings where women can receive freedom, healing and empowerment, to help them fulfill their destiny.

History: Delivered from a life of depression - fear of man - and fear of rejection - Myra Torres Goldfarb met the Lord on February 23, 1982.  From the moment she gave her heart to Jesus Christ, her life was instantly and radically transformed.

Since that time, Myra’s life has been “A Voice” led by the Spirit of God.  Her ministry is centered on prophetic exhortation to the body of Christ.

Noted for speaking truth into people’s lives, Myra began her ministry out of her home.   Weekly prayer meetings, combined with her love for God and her faithfulness to her local church, ultimately raised her up.

She has taught courses on intercessory prayer and has spoken at churches and conferences around the United States and abroad in El Salvador, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, and Mexico.  Myra has a burning heart for the lost, the broken - and - the poor.  She also has a passion to see women walking in their full calling and potential, fulfilling their destiny in Christ.

Today, Myra and her husband Barry Stephen Goldfarb, live in Deland, Florida.  Their son Eric and his wife Joanne, live in Hawaii, with their three children.
